Hahaa, that's a good one. I guess its beyond Pakistani members comprehension that we have a large Jewish community in India.
As a matter of fact there is even a lost Jewish tribe in Northern hills of India..

This is the official policy and statements to that affect are made repeatedly. It doent matter what others say and there is good reason behind that. Besides this is the same solution that Bush agreed to in 2002 and follows the Arab peace plan that the Saudis came up with to recognise Israel.


India's intial position was to oppose creation of a state on the basis of religion which is what creation of Israel was. Infact, Pakistan and Israel are the only two countries in the world that have been created on the basis of religion. India alongwith Iran and Argentina in the UNSC at that time provided an alternative soluition of having a united country with autonomous regions for jewish and arab majority regions but that was not accepted.


And not only Israel, almost all countries in the world were and are sympathetic to India. Right after the attacks Saudi GID chief ws in delhi and then in Islamabad to shuttle messages across. And on the 26/11 anniversary last year as well as this year, religious leaders from arab countries and Turkey were present condemning the attacks.
