If you know about India's history then u will know it has always supported the Palestine people and a 2 state solution this has never changed in fact India did not even have relations with Israel till recently

The reply was due to the post of Indian Jaat..but in many recent israeli articles I have seen they have lots of future plan with India.. to form a coalition for war against terror... to create anti muslim sentiment in india by potraying both are facing same threat... has a plan to sell billions of doolar worth israeli product and so on.. same also goes with china.... according to them india and china will never support palestine... so just wanted to know what is Indian and Chinise position will be if a resolution put forward for the creation of Palestine with 1967 border and east jerusalem as its capital...

Actually the relations exploded during the kargil war when Israel saved Indians major blushes by retrofitting their Mirages(the only aircraft the IAF had that could operate at that altitude then) for strikes at high altitude and supplying drones and ammunition.

The episode that you mention, relates to Govt.-Govt. relations. However at level of the ordinary man on the street, Indo-Israeli relations was such a remote matter as to not even be thought about. The head-line is correct; the 26/11 attack and specifically the attack on Nariman House suddenly catapulted the relationship to front-stage.
IMO, before that how many Taxi-drivers, Street-hawkers or people like that in Bombay considered any relationship with people in a country called Israel or even knew or cared about its existence?
The chilling visuals of the attack and especially of a two year child called Moshe in the arms of his nanny escaping certain death changed all that.

And suddenly created awareness and "even some feeling of kinship" across all classes and communities with Israeli people. Wonder if the organisers and perpetrators of the attack had factored that in as a side-effect.

This is happening world-wide, not just in India. Events like 26/11 only compound the problem. India on a political level did not display any enthusiasm for the creation of Israel; while the ordinary people just did not care. Slowly and steadily, public sentiment is changing. And the Govt. of Israel must thank the trouble-makers for pushing its agenda, and for free!

ok. if the answer will give your the idea of India and how its going to work in future, then , I will answer it..but am sure inspite of answering that, you will never accept India that way...cause you see what you wanna see...so my answer is..india will support democratic Israel..and it will support the entire people in israel regardless of their religion. thats the way India works.. hope thsi answer satisfies your curiosity about India's future role.

See, till now we did not care about Israel and where it came from. But in the present circumstances, we will use all the means available to defend our people from attack. And if Israel has something useful for that purpose we will use it to the fullest.

As for Ottomans, it is the name of some sofa or couch or something.

my cousin in delhi runs a transport mainly involved in touring with the foreign visitors...the majority of the tourist that stay longest and in largest no. in that area are Israelis..infact the no. is growing each year...most of them who I interacted with ,holds the Indian -israeli frienshi in high esteem...sharing exact same sentiments as we do for them....this common enemy of terrorism has earned both India and Israel a new deep friend in each other.
