2 more bullet-riddled bodies of Baloch human rights activist found
QUETTA: Two more bullet-riddled dead bodies of Baloch missing persons, including a human rights activist and member of Baloch Student Organisation (BSO-Azad), were found Thursday morning on the Coastal Highways Jaki area, some 60 kilometres from the Ormara Township.
According to the Pasni AC, Masood Rind, locals spotted the bodies and informed the local administration. The bodies were taken to the Rural Health Centre in Ormara. The victims were identified as Siddiq Edio, a HRCP activist, and Yousaf Nazar Baloch, member of BSO-Azad. Both victims were shot in head and chest, health centre sources said, adding that the violence and torture marks were visible on their corpses.
Siddiq Edio was returning home in Pasni from a court in Gwadar along with his companion, Yousaf Nazar Baloch, in a passenger coach, when two vehicles intercepted them on main Gwadar Road of Pasni.
The personnel, believed to be state functionaries, whisked them away on December 21.
AC Massod Rind told Daily Times that the cases of the both missing persons were registered at Pasni police station.
Nasrullah Baloch from Voice for Baloch Missing Persons told Daily Times that the Supreme Court (SC) was helpless in the face of the countrys secret security agencies.
These agencies are killing human rights activists also, he said, adding, The case of disappearance of Siddiq Edio was registered against the FC and is before the Judicial Commission presently.
