2 more bullet-riddled bodies of Baloch human rights activist found

QUETTA: Two more bullet-riddled dead bodies of Baloch missing persons, including a human rights activist and member of Baloch Student Organisation (BSO-Azad), were found Thursday morning on the Coastal Highway’s Jaki area, some 60 kilometres from the Ormara Township.

According to the Pasni AC, Masood Rind, locals spotted the bodies and informed the local administration. The bodies were taken to the Rural Health Centre in Ormara. The victims were identified as Siddiq Edio, a HRCP activist, and Yousaf Nazar Baloch, member of BSO-Azad. “Both victims were shot in head and chest,” health centre sources said, adding that the violence and torture marks were visible on their corpses.

Siddiq Edio was returning home in Pasni from a court in Gwadar along with his companion, Yousaf Nazar Baloch, in a passenger coach, when two vehicles intercepted them on main Gwadar Road of Pasni.

The personnel, believed to be state functionaries, whisked them away on December 21.

AC Massod Rind told Daily Times that the cases of the both missing persons were registered at Pasni police station.

Nasrullah Baloch from Voice for Baloch Missing Persons told Daily Times that the Supreme Court (SC) was helpless in the face of the country’s secret security agencies.

“These agencies are killing human rights activists also,”
he said, adding, “The case of disappearance of Siddiq Edio was registered against the FC and is before the Judicial Commission presently.”

Lolz how many more times are you gonna keep trying to take Kashmir? And fall back into your bunkers

Besides wasn't there an article stating that it was out of the UN resolution?

I remember Saurabh Kalia's tortured body... WTH, now they are killing human right activist as well....

I think it is blackwater...

Lets not bring Kashmir here.

This is Balochistan, the reality is stark enough and we don't have to bring in the terrorism in Kashmir here to bolster any arguments.

Use of terrorism against people, under you nominal control or not is a serious matter. I hope the redressal mechanism in Pakistan is strong enough to take on the state security apparatus.

RIP to the dead Balochis.

Now that's a more sensible post.

RIP to the dead if they weren't involve in violence and terrorist activities.

Yup because it is IOK. Indian occupied kashmir. A disputed territory.

Agree with the other posters , No need to bring Kashmir here as OT . But what about violation of human rights ?

Only goes to show that in Pakistan intelligence agencies are beyond the pale of the law...

Well it is yet to be established that intelligence agencies are involved in this. For example their are several incidents where separatists were murdered by other separatist group due to infighting between them. BLA hates BRA and both have been involved in attacking each other's activists. If these guys were killed by agencies then law should take action against them. I agree to this part.
