ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Youth Affairs Program (PMYAP) gears up to ensure two million jobs through its programme ‘Job for Pakistan’ in line with the Prime Minister’s vision to make the young generation economically strong and independent.

A PMYAP official told APP that the programme has been planned systematically through digitalized system.

It would help collect the data of the applicants without any hiccups and complicated procedures.

The students would simply upload their curriculum vitae (CV) online and the programme would further verify the data, he added.

He said as per the bio-data of the individuals provided through their CVs they would be adjusted in private sector companies and various institutions.

“Either qualified or skilled would be adjusted according to their area of expertise in local and international labour markets,” he added.

He said, “Besides educated youth the skilled youth like electricians, plumbers, technicians, car and motor mechanics would also get employment.”

He said that every year 500,000 students get their qualified done and get degrees, however, Job for Pakistan will help them get job after completing their studies.

Goodness, at-least someone is trying to come up with pushing positive things about Pakistan, 2nd in two days unless I missed something. Keep it up, there is so much of negativity about Pakistan these small positive things about Pakistan are a breath of fresh air, like I said earlier there are some serious positive things happening in Pakistan, problem is IK has a bunch of losers as team, he has kicked up the hornets nest by limiting GoP from useless advertising, tax collection, corruption and his unwavering stance. He doesn't have many friends but they are bringing about positive changes despite his team of retards.

I am attending the briefing on the initiative from PMYAP third week of November from my organization yes it is happening.

I am trying my best to find as much info as I can...It takes time sifting through the mountain of depression being spread!

Can you recommend some sort of partnership with industries as well as some form of internships to make a smooth move into the industry

@graphican

There already is a law, a big one at that there is tax break for corporate entities if they hire fresh graduates, current Govt is aware of the law and they are pushing it in a coordinated way to industry, although people like me are fighting every day with decision makers to come out of the discriminatory stupidity (Only IBA/LUMS/NUST students need to apply), I have reported and got blacklisted few HR head hunters on linkedin for this stupidity.

Unless our privatesector show some growth this is very difficult target.I think if govt help youth in getting job abroad it seems easy and achievable target if govt uses best diplomacy
