152 countries, int'l organizations sign B&R deals with China

Xinhua, March 4, 2019

A total of 152 countries and international organizations have signed cooperation documents with China on the Belt and Road Initiative, a spokesperson for the annual session of China's top legislature said Monday.

In 2018 alone, 67 countries signed such documents with China, Zhang Yesui, spokesperson for the second session of the 13th National People's Congress, said at a press conference.

We are waiting for Japan to come to the embrace. :D

US is not significant.

India would be nice to join, but, their political environment hard to allow it. Let's wait and see where populism will lead them.
India is in russian camp historically their shift is for regional power for south asia ultimatily for central asia but it will hurt them.
Joining Japan would be nice phillipine realize but still holding huge base of US.

Yes, Japan is a tough nut to crack considering their subjugation to the US.

The leash is too strong, China hits at it right and left, but, it still holds.

Well, time is on China's side.

Japan is more or less on board, at least its businesses are. :D

Definitely :D. Informal business circles are something outsider would never understand as far as East Asia is concerned.

Even at the height of tensions in the ECS, communication was going on at the informal level.

What I mostly mean is political inclusion, which is more difficult for Japan, but not impossible :lol:
