It's kanjar like these who give the rest of us a bad name.

12th of Rabi-ul-Awal at my house went like this;
- I put on a cartoon about the seerah of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) for the kids.
- We did dua before our usual dinner, we've been reciting durood for the dua
- I went to my weekly Islamic class as per normal where we're studying the 40 hadith collection of Imam Nawawi and a book on Aqeeda.

Other people will have done more extravagent events, last weekend our masjid did a procession through our local neighbourhood, then had islamic talks, naats and langar at the masjid. It's all good - as long as what you do is halal.

we celebrate but not this way.some groups in sunni muslims are stupid.they create image of kaaba and everyone surround it like it's real.it's so sad.some groups are totally out of control.but we are proud that people actually care about this day because some of the muslim countries don't even celebrate.it is also very sad.lol

In my city Sialkot fools dressed as Scottish bagpipers and perform on Eid Milad un Nabi...and this tradition dates back to 100 years.

First started by Agha Khan scouts and past several decades locals also adopted this....
